Escombros: esperança e reconstrução

Escombros: esperança e reconstrução
193 cm x 212 cm, óleo s/ tela
Daniela Reis, 2023

is a painter who has exhibited regularly since 1997. In her work, the human figure takes on narrative centrality, acting as a mediator between the visible and the invisible, the intimate and the collective. The body and the feminine are central themes in her work, true labyrinths of meaning and fragmentation. The body — conceived as a palimpsest, an open object and a site of encounter and vulnerability — continually reinvents itself, breathes, and resonates. Her painting engages in a dialogue between the personal and the collective, the real and the symbolic, moving between intimate formats and large, dense compositions with overlapping figures set in dreamlike spaces charged with emotional tension.
